🚀 Getting Started

Download Koinos from the App Store or Google Play, then tap "Sign Up." You can sign up with your email address or continue with Google. Once you're in, you'll be prompted to choose a display name and set up your profile.

Koinos is available on:

  • iOS — iPhone and iPad (App Store)
  • Android — phones and tablets (Google Play)
  • Windows/Linux desktop — downloadable app from our website

Each Koinos user has a unique Friend Code (e.g. KNS-XXXX-YYYY). You can find your Friend Code in your profile by tapping the QR icon. Share yours with friends, or enter their code in the Community tab to send a friend request.

📖 Bible Reader

In the Bible Reader, tap the translation name at the top of the screen (e.g. "NIV" or "KJV"). A list of available translations and languages will appear — we support 40+ languages. Select your preferred one to switch instantly.

Yes! Long-press any verse to bring up a context menu with options to highlight (in multiple colors), add a personal note, copy, or share. Your highlights and notes are saved to your account and sync across your devices.

Long-press a verse and tap "Share." You can share directly to the Koinos community feed, copy the text to share anywhere, or share a beautiful verse image to social media.

✨ Premium

Koinos Premium removes all ads and unlocks the full experience:

  • Unlimited Bible reading plans and streaks
  • Full access to worship music library
  • Advanced community features
  • Priority support
  • Most importantly: half your subscription goes to global nonprofits

Subscription cancellation depends on how you subscribed:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Koinos → Cancel
  • Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Koinos → Cancel
  • Web (Desktop): Open Koinos → Profile → Settings → Manage Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

After completing a web subscription, return to the Koinos app and tap "Sync my subscription" in your profile settings. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used to purchase. If it still doesn't activate, contact us at support@koinos.faith.

🌍 Community

Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any post and select "Report." Choose the reason and submit. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action within 24–48 hours. For urgent issues, email hello@koinos.faith.

Currently, profiles are visible to other Koinos users within the community. We're working on private profile options. In the meantime, you can control what you share by limiting your bio, removing your profile photo, and choosing what you post publicly.

👤 Account & Privacy

Go to Profile → Settings (gear icon) → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account." You'll be asked to confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our servers. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first through your app store.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. We'll send you a password reset link. If you signed up with Google, you don't have a separate Koinos password — use your Google account to sign in.

Email us at privacy@koinos.faith with the subject "Data Export Request." We'll compile your data and send it within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details on your rights.
